Ever wondered what half a million pounds worth of custom made Rolls Royce can buy you? No, us neither, but nevertheless, here’s the result. It looks like an odd, albeit pretty cool, coupling of old and new. That’s because the body is based (loosely) on a 1995 Silver Spirit MK IV but it has a few extras as you might imagine.
Auto Trader believes it belongs to a member of the Sultan of Brunei’s family and it’s 6.75 litre V12 rocket propels the car at a more than reasonable 360bhp. A top speed of over 150mph and a 0-60mph time of less than 6 seconds are mighty impressive for a car that’s roughly the size of small county.
The Lamborghini style wing doors are completely unique for a Rolls Royce – apparently, the people that normally purchase a Rolls just aren’t that interested in that feature, oddly. You will, unfortunately, need to part with half a million pounds for a similarly unique car but if you are interested then the company responsible for this one is DC Designs, an Indian firm.
The front end certainly looks like a Rolls Royce, but that back has more than an air of modern Porsche about it. Maybe it’s just a well disguised cut and shut?
