i have built in cam it work for few month, and the light has gone off it and wont work , its rele starting to annoy me, its happend to loads of people but know one seem to know wot do to, how do it get it working again

iv got the advent 5311 and put my memory card from my mobile phone into n micro sd adapter n then into my laptop but i cant get to my memory card (if that made sense)
can n e 1 help ?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
