Air Picks lets you rock out even without a guitar

Admit it, at some point in your life you’ve dreamed of being a rock star or pretended to be one by banging the air drums or playing air guitar. Yeah, we may look stupid doing it in public, but sometimes we just can’t help it. The bad thing is, some of us have no musical talent and remembering how the song is played can sometimes be hard.

If you like rocking the air guitar, but still want to hear music too, the Air Pick might be the perfect device for you. The Air Pick is a guitar pick-shaped electronic device that is many times thicker than your ordinary guitar pick. Thankfully, it’s so small, you can fit in your pocket so you can carry it wherever you go and rock it whenever you like. When you strum your invisible guitar using this pick, each stroke you make lets it play a real note from the song.

There are three designs to choose from at the moment, which include a white one that says “the rolling stones hot rocks 1964 – 1971.” The songs included in the electronic pick are ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’ and ‘Satisfaction’ by The Rolling Stones, ‘Born to be Wild’ by Steppenwolf, ‘Smoke on the Water’ by Deep Purple, and the film favorite ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

The Air Pick will hit UK stores this summer, but there is no word yet on how much these things cost.
