Angry Birds Seasons Updated with ‘Summer Pignic’ Levels

UK Angry Bird gamers will be switching on their devices this morning to discover a new update to the insanely popular seasons edition of the game. The already impressive lineup has been further extended with 30 additional levels themed around Summer.

The new level pack is entitled ‘ Summer Pignic’, as you might have guessed the scenery has changed to include wicker baskets, checkered picnic blankets, fluffy white clouds (obviously not set in the UK) and a variety of flowers. Some of the evil green pigs are equipped with explorer style hard hats, making them tougher to topple.

The update has been rolled out on iPhone, iPod and iPad with Android, Mac and PC users receiving the update in the near future. Rovio makes this quite clear in the short teaser trailer video below. Users who already have the seasons pack can simply update their apps, newbies will have to purchase it in the app store (59P from Apple), to be honest there are some many levels now its really good value for money.

To be honest, we kind of thought that they had already covered the majority of celebrations after rolling out Halloween, Christmas, St. Valentine’s day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter updates over the past ten months. Here’s hoping Autumn and Winter get the same attention later this year.
