Apple 12 Days of Christmas App Offers 12 Days of Gifts

It seems that Apple is set to repeat their generous 12 days of Christmas giveaway after its runaway success last Christmas. Apple has released the app and it has already climbed to the top of the free app store a full seven days before any freebies can be downloaded.

Apple will giveaway a selection of freebies from their app store, last year this included exclusive content, songs, videos, TV episodes, games and other applications. Users can expect the same this year and can download something free each day from the 26th December 2010 for 12 days.

Of course this year there is a new device to enjoy the freebies on, the iPad will benefit from the freebies as will the iPhone and iPod touch. To take advantage of the offer users must ensure that their devices are running iOS 3.0 or newer, they can also set up push notifications so they won’t miss out of the daily freebie.

I expect some of the things given away will be a bit guff but that’s to be expected when you get 12 things for free, my pick last year was the free Trivial Pursuit game – more things like that would be fantastic but I’ll take what I can get.

The app can be downloaded for free from the App store via iTunes. What would you like to get free?

Apple is doing it again. I still can't make up my mind on what I am going to get this year.
