There seems to be a growing trend of gadget watches at the moment, there is a wide range of mods and straps for the iPod Nano but a distinct lack of Android powered watches, until now!
Curiously named, the i’mWatch is produced in Italy and is the first of its kind to use Android OS. Like most modern portable gadgets, the I’mWatch is powered by a ARM processor, the tiny frame houses a ARM9 IM233 chip and 64MB of Ram. Owners can also benefit from 4GB of internal storage and the ability to take and manage calls using their wrist without needing to remove their phone from their bag or pocket.
Blue Sky Italy wanted to ensure the watch had universal appeal, they have designed it to work with Android devices, the iPhone and even Blackberry handsets. Users can access all the vital information from their phones using the 1.5inch touchscreen. The I’mWatch comes in a variety of colours and finishes and costs 249 Euros, which is roughly the same in pounds these days.
