Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation DLC Release Date Leaked

After the whirlwind success of Call of Duty: Black Ops and then the following downloadable content pack, First strike you’d think Activision and Treyarch would hold fire on updates for a while. However new promotional materials leaked by Game in Australia has outed another DLC for the game, this time entitled ‘Escalation’.

Much like the prior DLC ‘Escalation’ will come to the Xbox 360 first with the PS3 coming at a later date. If you are a PC gamer you will likely have to wait even longer as you did before, perhaps up to two months longer based on the First strike. So what will the new DLC bring to the game?

Escalation will bring in five new maps. Seize the Zoo, Take the Hotel, Secure the Convoy and Raid the Stockpile will likely be multiplayer maps whilst ‘Survive call of the Dead’ will surely be another Zombie Map – if it’s not ill eat my hat.

Activision has a pretty busy time ahead as they are rumoured to be preparing to unveil the official trailer for Modern Warfare 3 this month. The third instalment in the series is likely to be released in the autumn in preparation for the holiday season.

Are you looking forward to new maps or would you prefer other updates when Escalation rolls out next month?

i haven't bought first strike, won't buy escalation and won't buy MW3, it's all getting old now, since the good part of the activision team left it's gone downhill, myself and most of my friends are moving over to different games like crysis2, we have even changed the theme of our website away from CoD.

Yeah, brink won't 'bring down' call of duty at all. If you think this then you're naive.
