Review of Current BBQ Gadgets
July 17, 2009
When the sun comes out, people, especially the British, are guaranteed to do the following:- Strip off their clothing (as much as possible, regardless of physique and usually whilst wandering around the high street), sunbathe till they turn a rosy shade of red, blare music that should have been left in the early nineties from their tinny stereos (so that everyone from at least three streets away can hear!) and have a barbecue.
iPhone OS 3.0 update, update!
June 19, 2009
Anyone who made a rush to the Apple site on Wednesday to try to update their iPhone software may have felt a little disappointed, as far from the expected full detailed information on how to update their beloved iPhone, there was a page of information of what the new update has to offer (which doubting Thomas’s have already said most other smartphones already have most of these and more!), and little else.
With further delving the information could eventually be found on how to update to version 3.0, which for anyone who gave up looking is via iTunes. It should have been a simple case of plugging in your iPhone then a message is given that there is an update and ‘Bob’s your Auntie’. Well in an ideal world it would have been a simple process of updating the software but unfortunately Apple servers could not cope with the amount of requests and so a message said basically try later. New Apple iPhone 3GS, not everyone happy
June 16, 2009
Pretty much the whole world must be aware that the new Apple iPhone 3GS launches on the 19th June, and unfortunately there are some disappointments for those who already have an iPhone contract. Yes, it is true that there is a free software update available as from the 17th June that will provide a whole stack of new functions for existing iPhone users, and the software update will provide a much improved smartphone experience but the truth of the matter is that some of the best bits of the new Apple iPhone 3GS, will not be available to existing iPhone users.
Don’t forget your Apple iPhone update on the 17th June
June 12, 2009
We are sure that all you Apple iPhone users out there will already have the 17th June marked on your iPhone Calendar, because that’s the day that the iPhone OS 3.0 Software update is available. As if the Apple iPhone isn’t great enough as it is, the guys at Apple have some fantastic new features available in the update that will bring a smile to any iPhone users face.
One of the best of the new features has to be the ability to cut, copy and paste, this has been a bit of a bug bear with users who have felt that this was a bit of a schoolboy error on Apple’s part not to include it. Well the wait is almost over, and post-17th June all the Apple iPhone users amongst us will be able to copy, cut and paste sections of text moving from application to application and they will even have the ability to copy and paste from web pages too. Another one of our favourites is the Landscape keyboard function, which will for those with slightly clumsy fingers provide a more user friendly keyboard to be able to text or email.

Samsung N110 10.14″ Netbook Review With Pictures
May 15, 2009
For people that are always on the move (or those of you that are too lazy to get up and plug your laptop in the power socket) the modern day net-book could be the essential tool to keep you connected to your work, colleagues, email and social network sites like twitter or face-book. The problem with many netbooks is that they lack the features demanded by their target market. However there are a few new ones on the market that seem to deliver all the required spec.
The Samsung N1110 netbook is a compact laptop which manages to pack in a decent keyboard similar to that of one found on a ‘full size’ laptop. Also this portable beauty has a 10.14 inch led screen that delivers crisp, detailed and clean images. The spec describes the screen as being 33% brighter than any standard screen. The most important feature of an led screen is its power consumption, which is much much lower. When coupled with the efficient Intel Atom N270 processor the N1110 can deliver up to 9 hours of battery life.
