Online stores seem to have some of the best gift ideas for your family and friends. Today, we are listing ten of the quirkiest and fun items available at the website and it is up to you to choose what you like best (we bet that you’ll have a hard time choosing only one because these items are just awesome!). Drink it late and it can ruin your day, miss it out completely and you might as well have stayed in bed until tomorrow.

The problem is, until you’ve had the first mugfull you’ve probably not got the energy levels that you might need – fortunately, the Plain Lazy Mug will take a lot of the effort out of your morning coffee by stirring it for you; no need to lift a teaspoon.

Unfortunately you do still have to add the coffee, milk, and sugar yourself but once that’s done all you need to do is press the conveniently located button on the top of the handle where your thumb naturally rests and the battery operated mechanism will do the stirring for you.

Not only are the batteries included but they’re even already fitted so that’s another few joules of energy saved but you will need that because the mug isn’t dishwasher safe so you’ll have to wash it with a damp cloth yourself!

In the grand scheme of things, of course, stirring your coffee probably isn’t one of the most energetic things you need to do in a day but that’s where gadgets excel – making you believe that something reasonably effortless actually took a lot of effort.

If you’re feeling really lazy and you can’t be botheredl lifting the milk carton to your nose in order to determine its level of freshness then Craven have even produced a prototype Fresh Milk Jug which measures the pH value of the milk inside to determine whether it’s still fresh or not and displays its findings on the side. It’s only a prototype at the moment but we’re sure if enough people email Craven then it will be more than just a dream soon enough.

You can’t get enough lazy coffee gadgets as far as we’re concerned.

Any more prototype coffee gadgets that you know of?

Coffee Gadgets For The Lazy Coffee Drinker is a post from: Gadgets and gizmos

Gadgety gift ideas for Father’s day.

Gifts

Are you stuck for what to get Dad for that all important Father’s Day gift then let Gadgets and Gizmos help you out, as we have scoured the internet trying to find the Dad ‘must-haves’ …

Gadgety gift ideas for Father’s day. is a post from: Gadgets and gizmos

Are you stuck for what to get Dad for that all important Father’s Day gift then let Gadgets and Gizmos help you out, as we have scoured the internet trying to find the Dad ‘must-haves’ so that you can give your Dad a day to remember. First stop might be the gifts and gadgets online shop, ‘i want one of those’. This helpful site is full to brimming with ideas for something just that little bit different for Dad, and if he is really difficult to buy for then this site will no doubt have something that will be suitable.

I want one of those, have pages and pages of excellent gift ideas to bring a smile to the ‘difficult’ Dad’s face, including a very good practical idea the Ergo Digital Luggage scale. This would be a really helpful gift as it will be just in time for the summer hols and will alleviate the panic at the airport which is often customary for Dad’s leaving on the annual summer getaway. This excellent gadget will save Dad having to pay excess baggage charges at the airport because he will be able to tell Mum to remove the kitchen sink from her suitcase before the big airport row – definitely a win-win!

Of course if your Dad is less of the practical type then there are a huge range of sill nonsensical gifts such as remote control ducks for the bath, or maybe even for the Dad who has everything a light sabre umbrella? If however your Dad is an altogether more serious type, may be a bit of a closet eco-warrior and very concerned about his carbon footprint then a solar powered charging unit suitable for a phone, iPod or other MP3 player has got to be top of the must have list. This fantastic gadget will allow Dad to charge his mobile phone without being a drain on the earth’s natural resources and will do much to ease Dad’s eco conscience and at around £30 won’t cost the earth in more than one way!

Gadgety gift ideas for Father’s day. is a post from: Gadgets and gizmos

Brew Your Own Beer

Gifts

Home Gadgets

News

It may be too late to celebrate the Champions League win with some home brewed beer, but this fantastic beer machine can create 17 pints of beer (ale or lager, you decide) in seven to …

Brew Your Own Beer is a post from: Gadgets and gizmos

It may be too late to celebrate the Champions League win with some home brewed beer, but this fantastic beer machine can create 17 pints of beer (ale or lager, you decide) in seven to ten days.

The machine itself might cost £100 making your beer just short of £6 per pint (cheaper than it was in Moscow last night I’m told, and around the price you pay in London) but once you’ve bought the machine itself refills cost marginally more than £30 and that will make 50 pints – that’s about 60p per pint.

You can choose from real ales or lagers with each refill and the process is so simple you could set another batch going after helping to consume the last one. Simply add the beer mixture, which consists of natural ingredients only, and leave it for the specific period of time (seven to ten days).

The result is a natural, chemical free, pint that I promise will taste better than the home brew moonshine your granddad used to make in the shed. Now, you can sit back, have a pint of beer on tap and you can still smoke at the bar. Just add a few friends and you’ve got the ingredients for a great night.

The Beer Machine and refills are available at iwantoneofthose.com

Brew Your Own Beer is a post from: Gadgets and gizmos

A Limitless Supply Of Virtual Bubble Wrap

Gifts

News

Toys

You can rely on the Japanese to create gadgets that amaze and enthrall. Puchi Puchi is the latest creation from Bandai, the Japanese toy manufacturers and could be considered either a kid’s toy or an executive stress relieving toy. Whatever you consider it to be, you have to concede to its sheer brilliance.

Puchi Puchi is the term that the Japanese use to describe the noise that bubble popping makes and each Puchi Puchi has 8 buttons that closely resemble bubble wrap packaging. By pressing one of the buttons, it simulates the noise and action of popping the bubble but without ever having to destroy any plastic – a limitless virtual supply of bubble wrapping!!!

To say that Puchi Puchi has caused a stir would be a major understatement. They were first released in Japan in September 2007 selling an astonishing 1 million units within the first 48 hours of being released. Since combing to Europe, they have gained the adulation of celebrities like Jonathan Ross.

At just £6 each they’re a damn site cheaper than buying new electrical goods just to get the bubble wrap and they’re available in three colours – clear, blue, and pink. Oh, and the Puchi Puchi rewards regular users by playing a surprise sound when you’ve pressed it several times (a doorbell is the only one I know of).

A Limitless Supply Of Virtual Bubble Wrap is a post from: Gadgets and gizmos

Annoy The Hell Out Of Co-Workers And Brighten Your Working Day

Gifts

News

Toys

Let’s face it, you could have the coolest job in the world, but when work beckons and deadlines loom, mundane objects suddenly display new heights of appeal. When a project needs working on, paper clips become the latest sculptural material. But why selfishly limit your procrastination to your own work?

The Electronic Rhythm Drum Pens offer a sure fire way to make you one of the most despised and irritating workers in your office. Next time your team is working on a million pound deal and you’ve only got hours to finish, crack out a pair of these pens and get beating.

When you beat the pen on the desk, a synthesized drum sound is played through the miniature speaker mounted on the top. Two switches enable you to alternate between tom-tom, snare, and cymbals. Unfortunately, there’s also an on-off switch to avoid potentially disasterous drum solos in the middle of taking meeting notes.

What’s more, these drum pens are so innovative that you can even write with them. At less than a fiver each, there can be no better way to whittle away ten minutes than attempting to recreate your very own Phil Collins drum solo.

Go on, get creative.

Annoy The Hell Out Of Co-Workers And Brighten Your Working Day is a post from: Gadgets and gizmos

Top 3 Weirdest And Most Useless iPod Accessories

Apple News

Audio Gadgets

Gifts

Ipod Gadgets

News

When it comes to having the most ridiculous accessories of any product, the iPod is hands down the most popular product on the marketplace. There are literally thousands of pointless, though admittedly sometimes cool, accessories to have graced the iPod accessory list but somehow we’ve whittled it down to just three for your enjoyment.

3 – iPod Toilet Paper Dispenser

It’s a toilet roll dispenser and an iPod docking station. Speakers are hidden inside the arms of the dispenser and it supports all models of iPod that have a docking connector, or Shuffle USB. A very handy gadget I’m sure.

2 – The iPod Breathalyser

Personal breathalysers have become almost as popular as iPods. Well, OK, there’s a few of them about now. But why go to the hassle of owning a breathalyser and an iPod when you could have both conveniently wrapped in one pocket sized gadget? Genius.

1 – The iPod Stethoscope

The iPod stehoscope doesn’t just provide doctors with a convenient and practical place to store their iPod. Oh no, because that would be useless. The iPod stethoscope also enables the lucky owner to record their patient’s beating hearts for playback at a later time.

Honourable mentions must also be made to such incredible items as the iPod George Foreman grill, the iPod G-String, and the pink iPod vibrator (it’s called the iBuzz if you’re wondering).

Why not show off your innovative ideas. Let us know what you think the next best useless iPod gadget should be.

Top 3 Weirdest And Most Useless iPod Accessories is a post from: Gadgets and gizmos

The Graphic Equalizer T-Shirt – Oh Yes

Audio Gadgets

Gifts

News

Toys

Have you sat listening to the latest Boyzone single musing as to why nobody has invented a t-shirt with its very own sound-sensitive graphic equaliser? Well, of course you have, because you’re only human after all.

Fortunately, there’s no reason to muse over this particular problem any longer. The T-Qualizer Graphic Equalizer t-shirt is exactly that. The graphic equaliser responds to the beat of any music (even Boyzone – go figure) and flashes in time to the tunes.

T-Qualizer creates a line of unique clubbing software that includes this innovative masterpiece. While the company itself is US based, fortunately there are resellers and stockists all around the world.

Ideal as a gift for the avid clubber, or perfect for those looking for something a little different to wear this summer. And they’re surprisingly low priced so accessible for all.

Also keep a look out for the desktop T-Qualizer (available in Classic, Chiller, and Raver), and a range of clothing with more to follow soon.

More Details – http://www.tqualizer.biz

The Graphic Equalizer T-Shirt – Oh Yes is a post from: Gadgets and gizmos

Picoo Z Micro Copter Review | The best Gift For Men This Valentines Day

Gifts

Reviews

Toys

The description

The smallest, lightest helicopter in the world fits in the palm of your hand and flies in the smallest of spaces – from playrooms to offices! With a blue LED strobe light you can create fantastic flight paths in the dark. Comes ready to fly for up to 10 minutes with a 30 minute recharge time. Length 17cm. Also available in silver

Age 8+ Adult supervision advised

Our review:

I was lucky enough to receive one of these micro copters for Christmas from my sister and was so happy to get it (it is true men are the biggest of kids). The helicopter is small enough to fly indoors but I found it better to give it a go in the back garden (less things to hit). The picco copter actually only takes around 15 minutes to charge and will fly for around 5 – 7 minutes. I love this little gadget and whole hearted recommend it as a gift for any man of any age!

Picoo Z Micro Copter Review | The best Gift For Men This Valentines Day is a post from: Gadgets and gizmos
