After speaking to Toshiba technicians, they seem to think that there is a definite problem with the hardware and that in this case , either the processor or the mother board have blown. I would seriously think twice before purchasing this product without taking out extended warranty! Neither Currys or Toshiba are willing to look at this laptop without considerable expence.
