Facebook Numbers Lets Users Express Real Thoughts

Another week and another Facebook viral has hit the worlds biggest social networking site, this weeks trend is not profile picture related like last weeks cartoon character swap but instead relates to numbers.

The Facebook Numbers game started on 8th December and is fast becoming a widespread phenomenon with users updating their status with numbers and corresponding statements.

How does it work?

Basically the Number Game means users can ask their friends to comment about them without using their name, instead friends use a number as an identifier and post a true comment about them without anyone else knowing whom it is about.

What number will you pick?

The Washington Post explained the game, they said “To start the game, someone tells everyone to send them a private message with any number they choose. Then the person can post a public message to that person using the number. Everyone will see the message, but the only two people who know what it’s about will be the original poster and the person who chose that number.”

So that’s how it works, will you be joining in?
