It’s not often that we receive a case that is cool, good looking and warm. That’s right, I said warm because the Foofbag, made for the iPad and iPad 2, is lined with sherpa’s sheep wool.
The version we have is the ‘it’s not easy being green’ model made for the iPad 2 although it is available in a variety of other vibrant colours.
Foofbag broke into the market with their soft, yet hardwearing sleeves for the entire Apple MacBook range. They quickly moved in on the tablet market by producing sleeves for the original iPad and the philosophy has remained largely the same for the new version. The designers have stuck with what they know by using vibrant colours, corduroy material, wool lining and solid stitching.
The outer lining is filled with soft foam which provides a 3mm barrier of all-round protection (apart from the top, obviously). Removing and inserting the iPad 2 is easy although the case provides a snug fit.
The Foofbag is ideal if you want to transport your iPad within another bag or add extra protection for use indoors. A slip in case won’t be for everyone but if you like the style then you will struggle to find one as good as this.
