Google Celebrates Halloween With Scooby Doo Doodle Logo

Google has put an exclusive doodle/logo up today in celebration of the classic cartoon Scooby doo. The doodle includes five slides featuring the stars from the children’s TV show that many of us grew up with.

The first slide shows three trick or treater’s running from a spooky looking pink ghost, to us it looks like the menace might be after the kiddies sweets.

The second slide shows Fred busily looking for clues (he finds a trail of treats) while Shaggy and Scooby do what they do best, eat Scooby snacks.

Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne, Velma and Fred all hop into the famous Mystery machine to give chase to another unlikely spirit, which eventually ends up to be a lady in a costume – just to think “I would have got away with it, if it wasn’t for those pesky kids”.

The funky bit about each slide is that the word Google is actually embedded in each one (it is their doodle after all), we like the purple ghostie one best.

What’s your favourite?

As a parting gift and to add a little bit on nostalgia here is a video from YouTube of the original Scooby Doo theme. Happy Halloween.
