Many will agree that one of the most anticipated games of all time is the still unannounced Half-Life 3. Some of the series’ fans are clamoring that the game’s next installment will be Half-Life 2: Episode 3, but that seems very unlikely considering what Valve said about stopping production of episodic content.
Half-Life 2: Episode 2 has been released in 2007 as an expansion of Half-Life 2. Since then, no announcements for expansions have been given by Valve, and it has been too long without a new Half-Life game.
Just recently, Chandana Ekanayake, art director and executive producer at Uber Entertainment, said that he saw an employee from Valve that wore a Half-Life 3 shirt.
“All I’m saying is I saw this at a local game developer event worn by a Valve employee,” tweeted Ekanayake.
The sight of the shirt means nothing, though. It is not yet confirmed if the man wearing the shirt is a Valve employee or not, or whether he ordered from one of the many online clothes stores. It also appeared that the man wore the shirt at the gaming event for fun, but we’ll never know if the developers are forging a third installation of the game in secret.
Since Half-Life 2 has been released, the company has released the Left 4 Dead series and two Portal games, while making steam the one-stop source for PC games.
