Heat In A Click Gadget User Reviews

The name may be a bit of a mouthful, but the products produced by Heatinaclick could prove to be very useful if you want to stave off the chill of the cold weather this winter. The whole of the Heatinaclick Range consists of various sizes and shapes of heating pad. These are reusable and portable, with the intention being that you will carry the flexible, floppy pads with you and activate their heating properties when the temperatures dip. There are a wide variety of pads on offer with different intended applications.

You can get a foot warmer, a hand warmer, a face mask, a baby bottle warmer, a back warmer and a saucily-named pleasure pad which is basically a hot water bottle with a sexed-up name tagged on.

All of the Heatinaclick products use a toxin-free molecular reaction based on Sodium Acetate to activate the heating process and will hit maximum temperatures of 54 degrees. That should prove to be toasty enough for every occasion, whether it is keeping your bed warm at night or your feet feeling fiery in the day.The liquid in each pad will become solid as part of the process and as the generated heat dissipates the pad will return to its solution form. The best thing about the Heataclick products is that each gadget is reusable multiple times.

What do you think, is this product worth the money? Has it kept you warm, or left you out in the cold?

  • Waste of money! The product is heavy once heated and does not take the shape of your skin. You have to boil it in the hope that it goes soft again, good luck with that it does not always happen. Much easier to use a heating pad or hot water bottle to be honest. This product is a con and expect to use it once if you're lucky..i bought 3 and by the time i got it home it had already turned into a brick, so i had to boil it, ruining my tea towel in the process, because you have to put it in a towel as well.

  • Briony. Did you take your heat pads back to get your money refunded. I bought one and it does seem a waste of money. I put a j cloth in the bottom of the pan as I could not fit a tea cloth and the pad in both together.

I am going to try it again, and see what happens. If still no good then I am going to ask for my money back, that is if they are still there.

    I bought mine in Poole.

    • I would like to get my money back but there is no address or phone number on the web site. They are not replying to an email that I sent. The product is a con for sure. If anyone knows how to connect with them that would be great.

  • I bought 3 of these pads also, I got them yesterday in Norwich and thought they seemed like a good deal while in the mall. The man on the stand told my mother and I that to reuse them you just pop them into a bowl of cold water for 5 mins then it's ready to use again. I have tried this and also using boiling water and the 3 of them are all still solid. I'm going to take them back when I go to Norwich in the hope that they are still there, if not I think I shall contact them on their website. You are right........ A complete waste of money!

  • I took my heat pad back yesterday, and asked for a refund. The man on the stand said that he had to phone his manager first, which he did before he gave me my money back..I think that they do get alot returned.

If he wasn't prepared to refund, than I would have told customers not to wast their money buying these pads.

Good luck for when you take yours back. . .

  • hey mae,

they refunded your money back ?

i just bought one today for my dad thinking it was a great idea for his back, so i tested it too see if it works, after you boil it and it just becomes rock solid again...

    please let me know thanks.

  • You're supposed to boil it and ensure all the crystals have gone. You are also warned when buying it(if having done research) that the object does form a hot solid, as that is the reaction causing heat taking place. If you don't want to dirty your towel, place it in a bowl and pour boiling water over it repeatedly until all crystals dissolve. Yes, they are over priced, but they are available on ebay for half the price. My only issue would be that they don't seem to last much longer than half an hour. The product is handy if needing warmth out and about as you don't need a kettle or anything to produce the heat. Down side is its only useable once until reset. Still think its a good little device and will be handy for the future cold months.

  • Girlfriend bought one of the shoulder ones in the mall , a little import rip off stand...u know the ones. Paid 60$us for this one....wow lotta coin for something they claimed worked up to 2 hours. So here's the truth...very nice to play with, fun to click and squish around but only lasts 30 mins and u need to boil about ten to twenty mins also while turning. Don't buy for aches and pains. Or get ripped off! Would really only pay about 10 to 20$ for this as its more like a mesmorizing toy. And the little stands at the mall say no refunds......hummmm yea I wonder why?

  • That little notice on the stand is not worth the paper it's printed on. They cannot refuse to refund if something does not do what they claim it should. I brought a back pad and got a full refund. You just have to stand your ground. I think that they do not like it when you are telling them what rubbish it is when there are other customers abouy.

  • I have several Heat in a click poducts that all work exactly as they were advertized. They are portable and ready to use wen needed. The larger the pad, the longer it stays warm. The smaller hand warmers have about 2 hrs of life. The boiling part is a bit of a pain, but as you ca get 10 hand warmers for about $20 on Ebay, the ability to reuse saves a fortune over the disposable ones. This off sets he pain of boiling them up. As for them not going back to liquid when boiling, just give them a little longer.

  • Mark, how much did they pay you to write this? Or you must have bought the only ones that work!. The large back one only stayed hot for around 20 minutes. My hot water bottle stays hotter for longer., ,
