Rumours and speculation have been circulating around this new HTC Smartphone with many saying that it is in fact the new and exciting HTC Mecha, AKA the HTC Incredible HD. This is the first photograph that has emerged of the device booted up and it has possibly confirmed a number of things.
First off appearance wise it looks a lot like the Evo, it has the same curvaceous look and includes the most up to date HTC Sense utilising Android Froyo 2.2, the network is of course Verizon. The screen also reveals that the device is 4G (at the top of the screen) making it one of the very first to run on the Verizon 4G network.
Android Central say that the device is showing an impressive 9Mbps downstream and 5Mbps upstream, you must remember though this will be different in the real world.
Other details are a scarce at the moment but the device sure is looking nice, some might say ‘incredible’.
