Jill.e Jeremy Macbook Pro and Air Leather Bag Review

When Jill.e contacted me to review a bag I was initially shocked. You see Jill.e are renowned for creating gadget bags specifically for women, but their latest range is aimed at men and women. Some are even manlier than man bags, so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one called Jeremy (okay, just saying that didn’t sound that manly but I stand by my excitement).

Using the Jill.e Jeremy Bag

In the past I’ve found it difficult to get excited about laptop bags, it’s basically a transport vessel after all. The Jill.e Jeremy is different though and that becomes clear as soon as you get it out of its posh delivery box.

This bag is stunning to look at, with its premium leather exterior which is stitched together with thick white thread.

There's a deep section at the back for miscellaneous guff.

The interior benefits from a fabric lining with compartments shaped to hold an iPhone, iPad and Macbook. I am using it with my 13 inch Macbook Air and it fits like a glove, I should imagine older Pro models might be a tight squeeze though.

The bag benefits from a front and back pocket (as well as the main one). The front pocket is rather spacious and has three pen holders, a section for your glasses (or charger) and iPhone. The section in the back in completely flat and come in handy when transporting documents that you do not want to crease or damage.

The stitching is beautiful and strong.

This bag really is a luxury item (for the price it should be too) and I found the white stitching both visually appealing and practical. The bag feels protective and hard-wearing, taking knocks and scrapes in its stride on train journeys as I tested it. Granted some scuffs will occur, as with any leather bag, but any defects that occur because of manufacturing faults are covered for a full year anyway.

All Apple specific bags come complete with recovery as standard. This allows you to register your bag, then if someone honest finds your bag they can return it to Jill.e.

Final Thoughts

It’s expensive, there’s no denying that, but I think the price is worth it. Let’s face it, Apple gear isn’t cheap anyway and this offers the same level of design and function as branded Apple products.

If you love Apple products then you’ll love the quality Jill.e offers. Check out the full gallery below to see exactly what I mean and please feel free to ask any questions you might have.
