Koenigsegg Agera R-900 BHP could hit 275 MPH!

It’s fair to say that the Geneva Motor show is full of amazing cars and this year’s show has been one of the best for up-and-coming supercars, today Koenigsegg unveiled their brand new Agera R in Ice white complete with an amazing looking ski/roof box.

The original Agera was insanely popular amongst the rich and famous so this one will be sure to follow suit. Koenigsegg themselves compare the design and flowing lines of the Agera R to a dolphin, mainly because it has been designed to cut through the air as a dolphin would cut through water, even with the roof box we’d have to agree it looks pretty sleek but we highly doubt it has the problem solving skills of flipper.

However, this beast is the lightest of any hypercar with the whole car being designed to be as light as it can be. Koenigsegg says that the fly wheel, sump, exhaust and turbo weigh a combined 197KG – that’s about the same as two and a half average men (we could pursue a Charlie Sheen line here but we won’t).

Despite the lightened componants the 5 litre V8 can produce an astonishing 900 BHP hitting 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds and continuing on to a predicted 275 miles an hour if you can find a long enough private road.

A stunning car that all millionaire skiers will be drooling after.
