Japanese game developer Konami will be releasing two playable demos of the Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2012 game, the first of which will launch on August 24th. The demos will be available for free on Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and PC, enabling PES fans to get an early taste of the game.

The first demo will be launched on August 24th and will be based on one of the game’s preview builds. Konami wants players to try out its new Teammate Control elements before the game’s release. The first demo will showcase the individuality of each team, and will enable players to select from six teams: AC Milan, Manchester United, FC Porto, Santos DC, S.S.C. Napoli and C.A. Panraol. The demo will also show off the game’s key Challenge Training elements, where players can practice the new control system.

Konami said, “The first PES 2012 demo will not be truly representative of the final game, so Konami will issue a second free demo reflecting the final version’s feel and gameplay in mid-September for the same formats. This will also offer 10-minute matches, but with a different team roster of Tottenham Hotspur, FC Bayern Munich, FC Internazionale Milano, Rangers FC, Club America and Sport Club Internacional.”

Jon Murphy, the PES team leader in Europe said that the publisher truly values the support and input of its user base, and the two demos will be released so they can see how their inputs has aided the development of the most ambitious PES to date.
