Well, if you pushed us on the subject we would need to reluctantly start to complain about the long way from security to our departure gate. Couldn’t the people who design airports make them a bit smaller?

The good news is that even giant airports like Heathrow and Gatwick are going to be a lot more fun now, thanks to the Micro 3 in 1 Suitcase Scooter. This does exactly what the name makes you think that it does; it gives you luggage and a scooter in one smart package.

Great News, They Changed the Departure Gate

If you can imagine a 26 litre capacity suitcase with a skateboard sticking out where the wheel normally are then you have a pretty good idea what it is all about. Getting around in airports is going to be a lot more interesting  to do from now on, and you might even let out a little whoop of joy when your gate number gets changed from 3a to 147d. Of course, when you are feeling boring you can wheel it about like a normal suitcase instead of riding on it.

The Micro 3 in 1 Suitcase Scooter comes with a few different steering options (hard, standard or soft) and will set you back £250. It is marketed as being security compliant and able to fit into any airplane overhead locker. In fact, the only word of warning is that you shouldn’t use it on the road in normal traffic, which would be a pretty bizarre thing to do anyway.
