A new downloadable content is coming for Rockstar’s critically-acclaimed game Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar hinted in its Twitter that details surrounding the western title’s new DLC will be revealed in a few weeks.
“Look for release date and details in the coming weeks,” wrote Rockstar in its Twitter post when @Torpedo36 asked about the launch of a new Red Dead Redeption DLC. The game publisher also announced its quadruple XP offering over the weekend.
Red Dead Redemption is an open world game set in the 20th century old-west. The story involves a criminal named John Marston, who was forced by the government to track down and arrest his old gang members. In a world of corrupt officials and dangerous criminals, Marston’s quest takes him from the farmlands of the North, to Mexico on the brink of civil war.
With Rockstar’s announcement of LA Noire’s PC release, PC gamers wait if the company will announce a Red Dead Redemption version for the PC.
The Undead Nightmare DLC was released October last year and received a 10/10 score from IGN, who said that “Undead Nightmare is what downloadable content should be — a lot of bang for your buck.” The Spike Video Game Awards gave Undead Nightmare the “Best DLC” award in 2010.
