The blogosphere has been reporting all day on the return of Nintendo to the International CES 2011, it seems after all the hype they actually won’t be exhibiting.
Bloggers speculated that the supposed return of Nintendo could bring something big, some said the Wii 2 might be on show with many predicting Nintendo would use the opportunity to showcase the brand new 3DS which is due to launch next March in the UK.
The Consumer Electronics Association, the brains behind the show explained that they placed Nintendo on the list of exhibitors in error although they did confirm meeting rooms have been reserved for their use. So they will be there in some capacity but not as exhibitors, so the public won’t be shown anything new by Nintendo as CES 2011.
CES comes to the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas on January 6th 2011 for four days, it is the largest consumer electronics show of its kind with thousands of manufacturers bringing new and exciting technology to reveal to the world.
Are you dissapointed that Nintendo will not be exhibiting at CES 2011?
This is hard to believe. Didn't they already demonstrate the 3ds recently? I hope that it somehow ends up coming out soon because I am not buying another nintendo product until it does. I have a 1st Gen nintendo ds and a wii and see no reason to buy anything till the 3ds or the next gen wii does.
