In an effort to build anticipation for one of the most highly-awaited blockbusters of the year and to somehow promote its new Lumia 900 smartphone, Nokia has released an exclusive trailer for the movie The Dark Knight Rises.

As we all know, the Finnish mobile phone company is heavily sponsoring the film with the release of its Batman-themed Dark Knight Rises Nokia Lumia 900 mobile phone. The limited edition phone comes in a Batman matte finish and is embossed with a cool Batman logo. The phone is free on contracts from £31 a month, while the SIM-free version will cost customers £600.

The smartphone runs on Windows and sports a 4.3-inch AMOLED screen, 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a one-megapixel front camera. It comes with built-in apps such as XBox Live.

The Dark Knight Rises is the third and last of director Christopher Nolan’s Batman series, which stars Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Michael Cane, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway.

The film takes place in the fictional Gotham City, eight years after the second movie took place. Plot revolves around the arrival of Bane, a terrorist leader, who came to Gotham City to push its police force to the limits. This forces Batman to come out again after taking the fall for District Attorney Harvey Dent/Two Face.
