Iphone or Nokia? 2 of the most understandably popular phones in recent years have been the Nokia N95 and the Apple iPhone. With the 3G iPhone being released, Apple looked to have taken something of a lead despite the fact that the N95 is (in my opinion, at least) a better phone than its competitor.
The Nokia N96 is the 3G updated version of the flagship N series from the world’s most popular handset manufacturer. Nokia has today announced that it will be released in the UK On 1st October through 3, Carphone Warehouse, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Phones4U, and Orange. Unfortunately, several of the new features may not be particularly advantageous to us in the UK
3G connection is obviously good, and is something of a given for high end phones in the current market. It will also have a TV tuner, but the majority of people won’t be able to watch the TV because of a poor reception. Using DVB-H to offer freeview digital channels means that you have to live in an area that has exceptional quality reception (namely, elsewhere in Europe). Advanced GPS software should be a good addition, however, and it will also include 16GB of memory and a 5MP camera. All in all, not bad at all.
