Olympus X15 Digital Camera Review And Offers

Posted on Nov 16 2008 - 10:38pm by Richard Sharp

There are hundreds (maybe thousands) of digital cameras on the market at the moment with more and more launched every day. These can be placed into different categories suited to different uses and applications. Today we are looking at a camera that would suit the average photographer who wants to take a picture in a variety of situations with ease.  The camera in question is the Olympus  X15.

The X15 is compact and light and finished in jet black – which looks great!  It has a picture resolution of 8 millions pixels. This is plenty and you could print off extremely large prints without losing picture quality. The Olympus has a 3 x optical zoom and 4 x digital which makes it ideal for portrait pictures but not for long distance zooming. Pictures are viewed on a 2.5 inch screen – this is bigger than most other cameras in this braket and really does make a difference when taking a reviewing your pictures.

Power is supplied by a lithium ion battery which held its own for a day of sightseeing during our test without needing a recharge. This is a much better solution than the traditional battery. All in all this is a good little camera that can easily be transported and used – more importantly it delivers great pictures in most environments.

  • Picture Resolution – 8 million pixels

It also has function which stops red eye from happening when the flash goes off when you take your picture – personally I love the camera
