Packard Bell iMax 3414The Packard Bell iMax 3414 includes a 19” TFT monitor and features an Intel Quad Core processor, 250GB hard drive, and 2GB of RAM as well as a range of excellent features and some very good specifications for a computer that currently comes in at £500 in the PC World sale.

The chunky hard drive and RAM combine with an nVidia GeForce 8400 graphics card that has 256MB of dedicated RAM of its own to make playing modern games a reality. For the vast majority of gamers, the iMax 3414 has everything that’s needed while the rest of its features make it a very good all rounder too.

A genuine copy of Windows Vista Home Premium is installed on purchase (we’re still waiting for the day when a site advertises a PC as coming with a fake copy but that may never happen) and will run happily on this spec of system.

If 19” just isn’t quite enough you can upgrade by a whole inch to a 20” monitor for just a tenner extra and it has 6 USB connections, onboard LAN, and a dual layer DVD rewriter for the multimedia lovers out there (you know who you are, don’t be ashamed).

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Processor
