The YouTube channel of Samsung USA, as well as the Galaxy S fan page on Facebook unveiled a new video that gives hints to US customers that the company’s most powerful Android smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S II, will come to the country soon. The said video showed some of the places where the Galaxy S II is already available, like Asia, Brazil, Europe and Africa. The video ended with the Statue of Liberty in New York and a statement saying that the smartphone will be big in America.
No carrier badge is available in the video, though the design looks like the Epic Touch 4G of Sprint instead of T-Mobile’s Hercules.
The Samsung Galaxy S II is the Korean tech company’s most popular phone to date based on its number of sales. According to reports, shipments of the smartphone reached 3 million units in just 55 days after it was released in May 2011. This means that Samsung shipped about 54,000 Galaxy S II phones every day since its debut.
AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint are said to carry the smartphone in the country based on leaks provided by several websites.
