Sony Vaio VPCF11J0E/H Laptop Review

Posted on Jul 1 2010 - 2:00pm by Richard Sharp

This is one of the top end laptop models around, with a lot of power and functions which you don’t always find on cheaper models. It is a portable computer which would suit a lot of people and a lot of different uses. It is also available at a great price.

Design

The Sony Vaio VPCF11J0E/H is a classy one alright. Nice, sleek presentation with a big 16.4 widescreen and a glossy casing on the outside. Now let’s have a look at what’s inside.

Notable Specifications

You want 320GB of Hard Drive, a Blu-ray player, a DVD rewriter, 6GB of memory, a whole bunch of connectivity options and an Intel® Core™ i5-520M Processor, do you? Blimey, you want a blob of cream on top of that as well.

Value

At the normal price of £1099 the Sony Vaio VPCF11J0E/H was an excellent laptop at a price buy. At the current price of £899 it represents very good value indeed.

Summary

This is a powerful laptop which will take most people’s demands in its stride, whether that be internet surfing, video watching or word processing. The potent processor will handle most multi tasking duties with one arm tied behind its back. What stops this being another “good laptop buy” review and turns it into a “please buy this machine” review is the value for money aspect which the current offer represents. Even if the Sony Vaio VPCF11J0E/H is more powerful than you need at the moment the current special offer price is worth taking up and gives you the opportunity to buy a machine which could serve you well for a long time to come.
