The iPad is the perfect device for Christmas stories and one of the most iconic and perhaps essential stories for the festive period is the ‘Night Before Christmas’. Logic Consulting LLC today released their iPad app of ‘The Night Before Christmas’ which combines the original poem with re-mastered illustrations – think the original in HD.

New additions include interactive content and animation, another neat feature is that the story can be read in a number of different ways.

Parents and children can decide between a number of modes, either read the story themselves, listen to the fantastic narration or mix the two to read and listen at the same time.

The book includes interactive options on every page, readers can explore animations, sounds and more. For example kids and big kids alike can jiggle Father Christmas belly, light candles, fill stockings with presents and lots more.

So an app that brings the most famous Christmas poem slap bang up to date, the best part is you can download it for $1.99. Unfortunately the app does not seem to be available in the UK yet, we will be sure to let you know if it released.
