The Teddy Bear Lamp

Teddy LampThis design from Suck UK does, in all honesty, look a little on macabre side or like the bear has been taking hiding lessons from Scooby and Shaggy. The Teddy Bear Lamp features a teddy bear but instead of a head it has a light bulb and fairly normal looking lamp shade (it looks especially normal when you consider the lamp base is most definitely not normal).

The bear base is weighted and shaped so that it sits wherever you want it to without having to defy all laws of physics. Suck UK has a pedigree of designing and sourcing entirely unique items but they all have one thing in common – they serve a genuine purpose and they do it well. The teddy bear lamp is no different.

The dark shade has a golden interior so that the light reflects off it and accentuates the beautiful golden fur of the teddy bear. While we certainly wouldn’t recommend taking it to bed with you it would make the perfect, fun desktop lamp in a kid’s room or for the avid cuddly toy collector.
