Im used to IBM Thinkpads for work which I enjoy using but this for the price I dont think you can go far wrong. This does not have a memory card reader which is unfortunate but hey-ho they are cheap enough to add via usb. Its such a strange feeling now working on a big widescreen the actual work area is so vast, theres a lot of cursor moving ;-) I also purchased this last night & very impressed so far. I have a 3.4Hz 1GB desktop with £300 (2 years ago) graphics acard. This is 40% faster at vdeo editing with Vegas 8.0 and even plays Microsoft Flight Sim X at a very resonable rate.
