Turtle Beach to release four Modern Warfare 3 headsets

Game publishing company Activision is teaming up with Turtle beach to give Call of Duty fans limited headsets for its highly anticipated shooting game Modern Warfare 3. Four officially licensed Modern Warfare 3 headsets will be released by Turtle Beach and Activision will add extra in-game content to buyers.

These are not just ordinary headsets that has a Modern Warfare 3 logo printed on it. The audio engineers at Sledgehammer Games and Infinity Ward created audio presets to give gamers a better playing experience. The four headsets will be compatible with the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

“Call of Duty continues to define action while also becoming a cultural phenomenon as well as the industry standard,” said Turtle Beach’s Vice President of Marketing and Business Development Michael Arzt. “As the long-time leader and innovator in the gaming audio category, Turtle Beach is excited to introduce a collection of purpose-built Modern Warfare 3 headsets with features and benefits that will far surpass gamers’ expectations for licensed headsets.”

The Ear Force DELTA (EFD) is a programmable wireless Dolby 7.1 surround sound headset. It is preloaded with MW3 voice prompts and presets and comes with a carrying case. It is only available for PlaySation 3 and Xbox 360. It will be available for £249.99.

The Ear Force BRAVO (EFB) is a programmable wireless gaming headset that features the same presets as the Delta version. It is cheaper and is available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It will be available for £169.99.

The Ear Force CHARLIE (EFC) is a 5.1 Surround Sound headset dedicated to PC gamers. It will be available for £129.99.

Lastly, the Ear Force FOXTROT (EFF) is a wired headset that provides high-fidelity audio. It works on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It will be available for £89.99.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 headsets by Turtle Beach will be released in October this year.
