Will Playstation Phone Announcement happen on December 9th?

The Playstation Phone saga has taken another unexpected turn, last month Sony basically said it ‘might be on the cards’, last week they said it will ‘probably’ be Sony Ericsson branded and today French site NoWhereElse has speculated the Playstation Phone will be revealed on December 9th 2010.


The tech site has revealed an invitation from Sony for a press event on December 9th; the invite also contains the name Pierre Perron, the Boss of Sony Ericsson’s French division. Whether this piece of paper is for a real event, or even Playstation Phone related we will have to wait and see.

The date does fall conveniently close to the International CES event due to take place on January 6th, so it could be a precursor for something they are going to showcase there. We will have to wait and see.
