Xbox 720 sneaked in to London, now with amazing graphics

We’ve been hearing rumors about next-generation Xbox and PlayStation consoles are currently under development. Well, both Microsoft and Sony have denied these claims, but some players in the gaming industry are saying otherwise.

Game development company Crytek has revealed that the biggest names in gaming have been staying in London trying out Microsoft’s newest Xbox offering. Microsoft, who has been very sneaky, used the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona to cover up this Xbox 720 (codenamed Durango) summit.

“Enjoying the Durango developers summit in London. So far, great swag and interesting talks,” read a tweet by Crytek’s Sean Tracy. The tweet has been pulled.

This means Microsoft sneaked in the Xbox 720 (Durango) console somewhere in London just like ninjas in the night and showed them to a few lucky developers. Why would they pull out Tracy’s tweet if there’s no truth to the story, right?

Meanwhile, Metal Gear maker Konami has released photos of what the Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4’s graphics would look like. The company has released images rendered using the Fox graphics engine, and it looks amazing!

It has released test images, where you have photos taken from the real world on one side, while the other is a rendering. People will have a hard time pointing the differences between the two because the devices’ hardware will be that powerful.

We are already excited what these next-gen consoles will offer and hope we get to see them sooner.
