Making the perfect cup of coffee is something that has been a manual task for far too long in our opinion. Sure, it’s not exactly the most difficult job in the world but when will technology arrive to help us out?
Well, the good news for gadget loving caffeine freaks is that a new coffee-making machine from Bruvelo promises to bring coffee making into the gadget age. After pressing just a few buttons on your phone you can settle down with a delicious cup of coffee.
The bad news is that you can’t buy this machine yet, though. It is a crowdfunding project on Kickstarter and has a $150,000 funding target (£93,000). It is expected that the first devices will roll off the production line in June 2015, and you can get one by pledging $300 (£186) to the cause.
It Does All the Hard Work for You
The Bruvelo coffee maker can filter your water before going on to weigh and grind the coffee beans. It then produces a cup of coffee at the perfect temperature and with the right mix of water and coffee. You can control it using an app, with the instructions reaching the machine over Wi-Fi.
To get started you get to choose your ideal flavour profile. This means that you can tell the coffee maker whether you like your coffee to be delicate, balanced or robust. After that you just let it get on with the hard work and enjoy the flavour and aroma of a well prepared cup of coffee.
How would you like to make a cup of coffee with an app?

Being a home barista, the most desired upgrade for me would be Expobar Lever. I like My current machine, but I want to play at different level now. 🙂
