Unique design and powerful Blu-Ray combo drive offer something a little different from earlier Acer devices and with impressive memory and RAM to boot, the Acer Aspire 5920g is the ideal laptop for any purpose.

On a laptop, monitor performance is a huge deal. If you’re not happy with the display you receive then there’s very ltitle you can do about it but fortunately the 15.4” widescreen monitor utilises Acer’s CrystalBrite technology to give clear and accurate display images.

Hi, I’m currently considering this laptop as it meets most of my needs. I need to ask however, does the blu-ray drive support writing to CDs and DVDs?
    Thanks 🙂

Hi, I’m also considering this laptop, but some people have reported faults and question it’s build quality/lifespan. Can you allay my fears on this matter? In your experience, do acer laptops generally age well?

    Thanks!

    Eddie.

I have just bought a blu ray disc. when I put it into my acer 5920 the 'e' drive recognises the movie title but when I press play I get a message 'Windows media player cannot find the file'. The file is not specified.

I downloaded a trial of Power DVD and it advised me 'There is a disc with an unsupported format in drive E'.

    Help.

i bought this product and am very happy with it so far.

WMP can not play blu-rays. you have to use the acer arcade deluxe which came already installed.

the only problem tha i am having so far is with the sound. when i close the lid, there is a very loud hum, and also the sound on some downloaded movies seems a little low. any suggestions?
