A few weeks ago we blogged about latest Halloween version of Angry Birds, you may have been one of the million people to buy a copy in the first week of sales – if you were you might be very excitied to hear Angry Birds will soon be available on your console of choice.

Rovio, the team behind Angry Birds revealed at the Social Gaming Summit that players will soon be able to get their hands on a new and exciting version through the Playstation network, Xbox Live and Wiiware.

Angry Birds on Xbox?

Other details are pretty sketchy, it’s unclear on the exact format but Rovio has hinted there may be the chance to play as the pesky pigs – it might be nice to hear their side of the story. Peter Vesterbacka has also snapped back at farm related games saying they are not in it to produce “100 crappy farm animals”, they would rather create a mighty eagle.

At the moment you can enjoy Angry Birds on the iOS – on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. You can also play on the Android OS and on Symbian handsets.

Would this interest you and what changes (if any) will Rovio need to make to hook console players?
