Apple iPhone 5 Technical Drawings Show Antenna Breaks

After a recent video featuring ‘new iPhone components’ surfaced and was then promptly removed bloggers around the world thought it would be at least a week before another interesting leak occurred. Thankfully we don’t’ have to wait that long because new ‘exploded’ sketches reported to be the new iPhone 5 have emerged.

The new drawings, said to be from Jony Ive, have been leaked and support the parts shown in the YouTube video leaked earlier this week. The most interesting feature is that Apple seems to have moved the antenna breaks on the new casing which is a positive move to eradicate the so-called ‘death grip’ that can cause iPhone 4 handsets to lose mobile signal.

Apart from the subtle movement of the antenna breaks there doesn’t seem to be that much difference to the current iPhone 4. Many people would have expected this, Apple did the same when they rolled out the 3G and 3GS. If rumours are to be believed the iPhone 5 will have a July release date.
