Review
You may have seen the pc world advert featuring this laptop and all the advertising aside this laptop is great. The laptop is suitable for every type of user as it has a large hard drive, runs vista, has a HD DVD writer and HD graphics card designed for the gamer in mind. The asus also has 2 gb of ram which is more than adequate to run anything you fancy really!
Just got the thing i may be 12 but im a techy genius(not a nerd!!!!) Overal Speed brill, Plays Halo 3 On top quality settings with only a few jitters(make sure you dont have loads of programs running in the background) Absolutely fantastic tranfer speed all round; copies 178mb in just under 20 seconds(USB 2.0) WXGA Screen quality good, and the WXGA True Life Really shows up compared to some more expensive modern laptops. It really has got some super entertaining abilities so you can run loads of programs at once. As im sure you know, its “Core 2 Duo T5450” Processor and 2GB RAM And allows you to do these things, but there is a better and more expensive version coming out *prediction only*. Since HD was beaten by blu-ray these HD laptops are going cheap I got mine for only £400 from pc world compared to the original price tag of £550. Unfortunately there are not many shops selling this model of X53SR anymore. But The £750 “predicted” price tag of the “predicted” new model, which has A core 2 duo t5750 and bluray compatible DVD Drive and graphics card is already being mentioned around other sites is probably true. Oh and the t5750 is better than the t5450 to prove it go to this benchmark site(compraes graphics card processors anthing!) notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Processors-Benchmarklist.2436.0.html
And Look At the scores for 38(t5750) and 62(t5450) Overal its a brill desktop replacement and is a bargin price for such a good laptop.
