An unusually funny news story broke just recently about an email from an English woman to her future daughter-in-law, instructing her to mind her manners, the email went viral over night and has even made the national news in the UK.
The email was sent to 29 year old Heidi Withers after spending a weekend at her fiancee’s home in Devon this April. Carolyn Bourne, Withers’ future mother-in-law, wrote in her letter: “It is high time someone explained to you about good manners. Yours are obvious by their absence and I feel sorry for you.”
Bourne said that it was really unfortunate that Freddie, her son, had fallen in love with Withers, but if the bride to be wants to be accepted by their family, she should enrol herself to the nearest finishing school.
Withers’ father, Alan Withers, released his counter attack after the email went viral, criticizing her “uncouthness and lack of grace.”
“I think she has her head stuck so far up her own arse she doesn’t know whether to speak or fart,” said Mr. Withers in retaliation. “I met Carolyn and her husband Edward for dinner at a pub in London last year. Edward was a jovial chap but Carolyn was quite snotty. She had a look about her which made us think she thought she was better than us.”
He said that at the wedding, he is willing to shake Mrs. Bourne’s hand, but he has no desire to see them again.
“To be frank, where and how Heidi and Freddie get married is no concern of Carolyn’s. We just hope they have a wonderful day and are happy together,” he concludes.
The simple problem is ‘ladette’ Heidi wanted an inappropriately lavish wedding that her inadequate father is not able to fund and expects Carolyn Bourne to pay for. Certainly, it appears Heidi has demonstrated on numerous other occasions she draws attention to herself through her lack of social graces and that’s the reason why she chose to publish the email now! This clearly vile and uncouth girl undoubtedly has numerous other problems and obviously cannot act in a civilised manner. The email is completely within reason. Evidently Heidi Withers has had plenty of opportunity to be gracious, polite, and showing some evidence of grooming in the manners department. Many young people these days have few manners regardless of gender, income level, etc. Carolyn Bourne must have reached her wits end. The fact that this email reached the public's light of day demonstrated the future gold digging daughter-in-law is vulgar and uncouth.
