It seems Treyarch aren’t about to rest on their laurels after their recent patch, they have announced that the latest hit Call of Duty: Black Ops will continue to receive updates via patches tailored around gamers feedback.

Black Ops regained the coveted top sales spot across all platforms last week and the developers want to keep the momentum going by rolling out updates for the blockbuster game. Mark Lamia said “Right now we are just focused on the PC and console skus that were just launched.”

Lamia was explaining his vision of the game to Joystiq and revealed additional content would be created for the game. He said “The response that I’ve gotten is that people are happy with the game.” He continued “There are millions of people playing every day, and we’re focused on supporting that. So everyone who bought and is investing their time in Black Ops, they can expect that that’s just how we work.”

It is clear that Treyarch want to continue to impress Activision who is renowned for changing the developers in charge of the first person shooter series. Lamia said “We’ve just got to stay focused on what we want, what we’re making and our own creative, and that’s really the best way to do your best work.”

Expect updates to come thick and fast, whether you own a PS3 or Xbox 360 Treyarch is set to deliver what gamers want.
