Mere weeks ago Charlie Sheen was admitted to rehab and the two and a half men star looked like he could be down and out forever. Not so if his exploits over the last couple of days are anything to go by, certainly when you consider that he has amassed 1 million Twitter followers is just over 25 hours.
Sheen has been mixing things up and grabbing headlines with a string of random comments and behaviour after having his Twitter handle @charliesheen streamlined through the official channels. The zero to 1 million in 25 hours and 16 minutes has been marked down in the Guinness book of records as the fastest of all time.
Presumably users want to hear more of his wild claims such as his home planet being Mars, about his Tiger Blood claims and opinions on current trends such as the iPad 2.
Sheen supposedly took lessons before embarking on his Twitter career and it is clearly paying off with many predicting that Twitter could make him more money than his acting work, a bold claim but we wouldn’t doubt it.
