HTC Scribe Tablet Sports Dual Screens and Android Honeycomb

2011 is set to be a big year for the tablet world, Apple will launch their iPad 2, Blackberry will launch their Playbook tab and now it seems HTC will also get in on the action. Following various patents by Apple HTC have also filed a patent for a “handheld wireless device, namely, a tablet computer.”

Speculation about the specifications of the HTC Scribe are rife, apparently the device will include dual touch screens which will work with a stylus similar to that on the HD2 Smartphone. The screen is rumoured to be 10 inches in size and 1280×720 in resolution, it will be powered by the Nvidia Tegra 2 Processor with 2GB of built in memory.

The whole set up will supposedly run on the up and coming Android Honeycomb, and just like Apple and Blackberry, HTC will schedule the release date for the ‘Scribe’ within the first three months of 2011 (probably end of Q).

So 2011 will be the battle of the tablets, which one do you think will come out on top?
