I have always been an early adopter of Apple technology and recently upgraded to the new iPhone 6. The new phone is great, but the addition of iCloud Drive? Not so much.
iCloud Drive was supposed to make working easier across Apple devices. You should be able to start working on one device, say your iPhone, and then be able to seamlessly transition to your iMac using iWork apps. What I’ve found is quite different; the apps don’t sync, crash and run at a snail’s pace. This is a big fat fail and the arrival of iOS 8.1 seems to have made this worse. I’m not alone in this and the official iWork website is littered with dissatisfied users.
Here’s just a couple of examples:
These comments are a concern, seeing as the problems have persisted for weeks already. Surely Apple will act soon, or at least admit an issue? Until they do many users have a bunch of useless iWork apps, which is the opposite of productive and really means iCan’t Work. I am not alone in this, as shown above, but I am curious to hear if anyone else found this to be a problem? If so what have you done about it; or what would you like to happen?
