iOS4.3.3 Jailbroken Already

When the guys at Apple bring out a new operating system for the iPhone you can usually bet your bottom dollar that they will fix any gaps which caused the older version to get jailbroken. Well, in the case of iOS 4.3.3. you would be bottom dollarless if you did this, because the hack that worked before still works now.

This means that instead of waiting a few days or weeks for a new way to jailbreak your iPhone you can do it right now if you want to. The iOS 4.3.3 was released to fix the location tracking problems and we can only assume that they were too busy with this to make the previous hack invalid too. There is also the theory that they have lost a bit of interest in keeping their phones as watertight as before, as there are no real financial benefits for them in spending time and effort doing this.

These hacks are generally considered to be only suitable for people who are pretty experienced with their gadgets, as they can go wrong and you can completely mess up your phone if you get it wrong. Backing up files first is a smart move.

Do you hack your iPhone? If not do you avoid this because you think it is morally incorrect, because you don’t want to mess up your phone or because you just don’t see any real benefit in doing it?
