Jay Kay Gets an Unfortunate Wikipedia Edit

We were listening to the radio in the office today when Jamiroquai’s Canned Heat came on; we got talking about Jay Kay and how much he might be worth which naturally led us to Google and subsequently Wikipedia.

To our surprise we were faced with a rather unfortunate Wikipedia edit that had slipped through the editors net.

As you can see, at the time Jay Kay was described as an English Bell end which has since been removed along with a few other choice words he mentioned to a paper last month. This is just one other Wikipedia edit that shows why there are not many places around that allow users to edit their content.

Jay Kay, the front man of Jamiroquai has been in a bit of bother of late after last month he let rip a rant about the musical talents of Cheryl Cole and Danni Minogue before appearing on the X-Factor. His rant didn’t go down well with a lot of fans and then he went and threw his phone off of London Bridge after a heated chat last night, one onlooker explained to the Daily Star “He didn’t care who could hear him. He was shouting over and over again: ‘You’re a bastard Jeff, you’re a bastard.’

So all in all, not a good day for Jay Kay but at least it shows the editors over at Wikipedia are quick to put pages back as they should be, flame free.
