You may remember that early in 2011 Lady Gaga penned a deal with Polaroid to become the face of its modern brand, today we received one of the latest products from Firebox in the form of the Polaroid GL10 Instant Mobile Printer.

Touted as the next generation in digital photo printing the GL10 is a rechargeable mobile printer that shuns the need for cables making it ideal for people on the move or those of you wanting to print photos without power. Basically people traveling, camping or attending festivals will love this gadget.

Mobile phone owners can buzz their photos via bluetooth to the GL10, likewise PC or Mac users can print via bluetooth or good old usb. The photos that come out are of the miniature variety, 3inches by 4inches wide on premium paper with a peel able sticky back. Like past Polaroid snappers this printer requires no ink as it uses thermal paper to produce full colour images that are waterproof and tear resistant, oh and you can still shake them to aid developing.

Polaroid say that you can print 35 photos on a single charge making it the ideal gizmo for instant photo printing. When it goes on sale at Firebox late next month it will retail for £199.99.

Do you think their is still life left in the old Polaroid concept?
