On Sunday 20th March Covent Garden is set to come alive with a PR event to promote the hit game Dance Central for Xbox 360 and Kinect. The larger than life Louie Spence will host the event which will see the dance group Happiness (Got to Dance) against Britain’s Got Talent contestant Kevin Cruise. It seems Microsoft want fans to get in on the action too as they have invited them to align themselves with their favourite side forming ‘Team Happiness and Team Cruise’.
The event will give attendees the chance to win some exclusive merchandise and prizes. If you are a dancer or simply don’t mind making a prat of yourself you can compete for a range of prizes including a pair of tickets to see Kylie Minogue in concert including VIP meet and greet tickets. If Kylie doesn’t float your boat then perhaps the prospect of winning Xbox 360 consoles, Kinect sensors and perhaps the odd game or two might.
Apparently a ‘pop up’ arena will be built to house the event which will start at 1:30PM on Sunday 20th March with Louie running the show. However people can turn up anytime from 11am and 7pm to try out the game using the Kinect controller.
Will you be attending the event?
