New games alert – Playbook Now Works and Plays Hard

The Blackberry Playbook may be a tablet for ‘professional’ users, but that doesn’t mean they don’t want to play hard too. There’s been an influx of top notch games recently which has left users wanting more.

“It’s got the power, now bring on the games”, remarked Thomas in the office this morning. He, like other Blackberry users, have been playing games such as Angry Birds and Tomb Raider on Rim’s Tablet and want more. According to Anders Jeppsson owners will not have to wait much longer as new titles are on the horizon.

Sega has announced that it will be adding a slew of new titles to the Blackberry app World with Sonic 4 being the headline title. Others will include Glitchsofts Star Marine, Unity with Smashcops and Galaxy on Fire 2.

There aren’t any clear cut schedules for any of the above titles but it’s great to see that the Playbook will soon be able to play as hard as it, and it’s target user, works. You can read more about this over at Crackberry, a site which is very excited about the news.

Which titles would you like to see make their way onto the Playbook? And how much would you pay for the above titles?
