Nintendo has been firing out emails left, right and centre today. Informing the blogosphere about an impending update to their Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming console. Don’t worry it’s not a hardware update but a refreshed firmware tweak, one that has actually been planned since its launch back in March.
The update will bring a variety of new features including a web browser and online store, features will appeal to all users. This could be a move by Nintendo to claw back some territory lost to smartphone gaming, we’ve yet to see the online store but if rumours are true mobile greats such as Angry Birds could be coming to the 3DS soon.
The official release date is June 7th so only a few weeks to wait, the eStore will definitely include classic game downloads.
